The Spaniards traditionally send their children to summer camps. Therefore, there are a lot of children's and youth camps in this country. They are located not only in the coastal zone, but also in mountainous areas.
Children's camps in Spain are divided into two groups:
- linguistic (usually English is studied);
- sports.
Each camp is equipped with sports fields and equipment. There are gyms, swimming pools, tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts, etc. Children can practice archery, rock climbing, hiking and cycling. Summer camps offer windsurfing, kayaking, diving and other water sports.
The advantage of Spanish camps
Children's camps are separately built complexes. This distinguishes them favorably from camps in many other countries, where children are forced to live on the territory of the hotel.
In Spain, great attention is paid to personnel. Professional teachers are invited to work with children. Meals in such centers are adapted to the needs of children of different ages. Children's complexes are fenced and are guarded round the clock. The sale of cigarettes and alcoholic beverages is excluded on the territory of the camp.
Language camp - an opportunity for development
Children's camps in Spain, which specialize in learning foreign languages, are very popular. They practice placing children on campus or with Spanish host families. Children from all over the world come to such camps. Communication with foreigners, intensive classes, a friendly atmosphere and fun activities - all this contributes to the fact that Russian children very quickly begin to speak another language. Among the language camps, the International Youth Camp can be distinguished. There you can learn all kinds of language skills: perceive live speech, maintain a fluent conversation on any topic, and learn to write. The Spanish language camp is a unique opportunity to usefully spend your holidays and meet interesting people.
The main goals of the language camp:
- learning foreign languages in a friendly atmosphere;
- acquaintance with the culture of Spain under the guidance of experienced teachers;
- participation in sports, beach, cultural and recreational activities.
Sports camps
If the child leads an active life and loves sports, then buying a ticket to a sports camp will be a good decision. Spain has year-round centers with sports programs. A famous youth camp is Ciutat del Sol in Catalonia. It has a well-developed sports infrastructure: an indoor pool, a huge gym (minifootball, volleyball, basketball), a football field, tennis courts, etc.
