Where can you go on vacation in Thailand in September?
Bangkok and the central Thai regions are not suitable for a holiday in September - there will be no opportunity to part with a raincoat, and sometimes even rubber boots, for almost the entire month. Eastern Thailand is also prone to tropical rainstorms in early autumn, so this period is not the best time to visit Koh Chang.
The water temperature is almost everywhere at the same level (+ 28˚C). Professional surfers should take a closer look at Phuket, and those who want to enjoy beach activities should take a look at Phangan, Samui or Koh Tao (the water is calmer there, and it rains for no more than 20 minutes). You can go to Pattaya, but more so to hang out on Walking Street or go kiting on Jomtien Beach.
Bangkok in September is notable for hosting the International Music and Dance Festival, as well as the World Gourmet Festival. As for the province of Nan, boat races are held there in the first month of autumn.
Hua hin
In September, it is usually hot in Hua Hin during the day (+ 32-33˚C), although cloudy days and light rains are not uncommon (on average, there are a little more than 10 rainy days per month). Tourists flock here for a relaxing holiday - there is no nightlife in Hua Hin and many cozy 4-5-star hotels have been built.
Since the water warms up to at least + 25˚C, the following beaches may be suitable for holidaymakers:
- City beach: here you can sit both on the white sand and on a rented sun lounger. Vacationers are offered to fly on a parachute over the water, ride a horse along the coast or on a water scooter on the water surface. In the coastal restaurants, the hungry can enjoy fresh seafood dishes. In addition, you can find eateries, ice cream and snack vendors on the beach.
- Khao Takiab beach: it is covered with white sand with an admixture of volcanic. Due to the shallow water on Khao Takiab, families with children love to relax. There you can rent a sunbed and order a Thai massage. There is a golf course nearby.
- Suan Son Beach: there is no beach infrastructure, but if you want to hide from the sun, you can under the shade of the trees (it is advisable to take something for a snack with you). But the water on Suan Son is clearer than on the City Beach.
For travelers are of interest:
- Hua Hin night market - they sell not only spices and all kinds of products, but also clothes with a Thai flavor, handicrafts, works of street artists, original souvenirs, ethnic jewelry and items related to Buddhism,
