Where to go on vacation at the end of August?

Do you like boat trips? At the end of August, you should pamper yourself with walks, for example, along the canals of Amsterdam. Active travelers can be advised to go on a cycling tour of the French Loire Valley or to become a member of the mountain trail in Peru "Trail of the Incas".

For those who are not indifferent to Vietnam, at the end of summer it is best to relax in resorts in the center of the country - Hoi An or Da Nang (there are fewer “wet days” and they will not be able to spoil the vacation).

For those wishing to swim in warm water (+ 26-27˚C), it makes sense to head to Cyprus. The end of August is suitable for visiting the picturesque Cypriot villages and ancient monasteries, for hiking in the mountains along nature trails, as well as for a fun time in the water parks of Limassol, Ayia Napa, Paphos and Protaras. At the end of August, you can spend a good time in the Crimea, as well as in Sochi, the villages of Loo, Lazarevskoye.

As for children's recreation, at the end of summer, your children can be sent to a language school in Malta or a children's camp in Anapa, Bulgaria or the Czech Republic.

Venice

At the end of August, Venice is quite warm (daily rates fluctuate around + 25-27˚C), so travelers can rummage through the ruins of the Mercatino dell 'Antiquariato antique market, ride a vaporetto along the Grand Canal, enjoy the views of local attractions from a 75-meter heights (the elevator takes everyone to the bell tower of the Cathedral of San Giorgio Maggiore), listen to an opera at the La Fenice theater, admire the masterpieces of lace-making in the lace museum, go to see the Bridges of Sighs and Rialto.

As for swimmers, Lido Beach is at their service, with free and paid areas covered with sand.

Krasnodar

In late August - early September (the air temperature in the daytime is from +25 to + 28˚C), you can see St. Catherine's Cathedral (includes a bell tower and 2 chapels on the sides, and there is also an icon of the Kazan Mother of God and the relics of St. Catherine the Great Martyr, Barbara and St. James) and the house of the ataman Bursak (visitors are immersed in the atmosphere of past years and the life of Bursak with photographs, old dishes and interior items), walk along the Kuban embankment (suitable for morning jogging and walks with children), touch any banknote to the monument to a purse (this ritual should be done by everyone who wants to find financial well-being), look at the Museum of Military Equipment (at least 40 pieces of equipment in the form of tanks, cannons, a self-propelled artillery unit of 1938 and a submarine are subject to inspection).

Golden Sands

At the end of summer in Golden Sands (air temperature + 24-27˚C, and water + 23-24˚C), you can go on a sea cruise, take off a snow-white yacht, play golf, dance to incendiary music in disco bars.

The main attractions of Golden Sands:

  • the chapel of St. John the Baptist (the chapel was built in the original architectural style under the patronage of Metropolitan Kirill);
  • natural park "Golden Sands": through it 5 tourist routes have been laid, which will allow you to get acquainted with the Bulgarian nature - landscapes and plants. So, the “red” - long route will also allow you to see historical monuments, and all the way active vacationers will encounter areas for recreation and picnics, where, if you wish, you can rent barbecue equipment.

The beach strip of Golden Sands is framed by hills overgrown with dense forest. On the beaches (pipes with mineral water are connected to them), more than 3 km long and 50-100 m wide, there is fine-grained sand. Guests will appreciate the well-developed infrastructure, which allows you to comfortably relax and play sports.

Fans of nightlife should take a closer look at the Red Cancer casino, the Bunkers disco, the Picnic Horse and Gypsy Tabor nightclubs.

Those who wish will be able to have fun in the Aquapolis water park. At the entrance there is a climbing rock (7 routes have been developed), and next to it there is an artificial lake, an amphitheater and a snack bar "Alkazar". The water park is equipped with a shooting range for adults and children, a jacuzzi, swimming pools, water slides (Slalom, Wild River, Niagara, Black Hole, Kamikaze), fountains and waterfalls, a massage parlor, a children's corner (they will like frolic in the pool with a huge dragon, from whose mouth a slide begins).

It should be noted that Golden Sands is of particular interest for those wishing to receive medical treatment and undergo rehabilitation. So, you should take a closer look at the balneological center at the Ambassador Hotel (those who suffer from arthritis, neuroses, chronic bronchitis and pharyngitis flock here; mud and hydrotherapy, thalassotherapy, acupuncture, electrotherapy are actively used in treatment).
