Interested in shopping opportunities in the Polish capital? At your service - designer boutiques, shopping centers, craft shops, antique shops, as well as flea markets in Warsaw, discovering which you will be able to become the proud owner of both a book rarity autographed by the authors and household utensils dating from the 18-19 centuries.
Flea market at the Dziesieciolecia stadium
The location of this market (it operates daily) is the upper tiers of the stadium: here they sell traditionally Russian goods - dolls, lacquered and painted boxes, nesting dolls, samovars, amber and silver items, books, leather accessories, lace.
You can get here by buses No. 117, 507, 158, 521, 102 and trams No. 22, 8, 25, 9.
Bazarstarocina Kole Market
Before you start looking for interesting things, it is important to decide on the purpose of visiting this place: in one part of the flea market they sell antiques, and in the other they sell and exchange unnecessary things. From the many products on this weekend market, you can find original sculptures, glassware, cuckoo clocks, musical instruments, kerosene lamps, collections of old maps, pieces of furniture (sofas, dressing tables, cabinets), stamps, porcelain, cameras, paintings, rarities of the times World War 2 (orders, items of ammunition, cockades), rare books and comics - everything that has been preserved from the old days and years was gathering dust among local residents in storerooms and in attics.
Bazarstaristina Kole is located on Obozova Street (can be reached by trams No. 13, 24, 12); working hours: the market is open only on weekends (from morning to 2 am).
It is worth noting that sometimes the flea market takes place near the Wilanowska metro station - here the locals lay out old things right on the ground (if you're lucky, you can get an original thing with a history).
