They say that as many people live on Earth, there are as many opinions. This is especially true of the definition of the "very" object or phenomenon, which cannot be weighed, measured or calculated. For each of us, the most beautiful natural attractions in the world are usually located where we grew up, or against whose background events that were especially important in life took place. That is why the Maldives seem to be the most beautiful for those who spent their honeymoon on their white beaches, and Yosemite National Park especially pleases the gaze of the local Indians from the Avanichi tribe.
At the very top of the TOP
Fans of studying public opinion and conducting various polls have tried many times to form a list of the most beautiful natural attractions in the world, in which, despite the difference in the data obtained, they invariably found themselves:
- Monument Valley in the United States. Formed by weathering, bizarre red sandstone cliffs on the border of the states of Arizona and Utah have repeatedly become "heroes" of Westerns. The national park belongs to the Navajo Indians.
- Moraine Lake in Banff National Park in Canada looks especially advantageous at the end of June, when its waters begin to shine with all shades of turquoise.
- Plitvice Lakes in Croatia is the main attraction of the national park of the same name. The purity of the water in them allows you to see the smallest formations at the bottom.
- The "pulpit" in Norway is a six-hundred-meter high cliff, on the flat top of which it is customary to take breathtaking photographs.
- The thermal springs of Pamukkale in Turkey have created terraced ponds of dazzling whiteness. where, they say, Cleopatra herself bathed.
Not a single geographer will undertake to list all the beauties of nature, but there are special tourist routes designed to see as many attractions as possible in one trip.
There is an island in the blue sea …
One of the most mysterious islands on the planet is located in the Arabian Sea. It is called Socotra, geographically belongs to Yemen, and its uniqueness lies in the fact that from the list of local plants, more than a third are not found anywhere else on the planet. The shape of Socotra's trees makes even seasoned travelers exclaim enthusiastically.
According to scientists, the archipelago separated from Africa about six million years ago, and this and its inaccessibility explains the high degree of endemism. The dragon tree in the form of a huge umbrella and the bottle tree with pink flowers are just a part of the unique flora of the island.
