Description of the attraction
This picturesque waterfall is located on the east coast of the island on the White River. The waters of this river feed the famous Boiling Lake in Dominica. The trek to Victoria is of medium difficulty and takes 3-4 hours on average, taking into account the return journey. However, it is not recommended to send here on your own, without a guide.
The road to this waterfall begins in the village of Dalis. This town is located in the southeast of Dominica between Ptit Sawan and La Plaine. This part of the island is little explored and developed, unlike other popular places that exist here. That is why thousands of tourists from all over the world who are fond of ecological tourism flock here to see the pristine beauty of nature and magnificent landscapes.
You can get to the White River by car and leave it at a special parking lot organized here. The parking fee is US $ 5. The waterfall has its own "guardian" who will meet you here - friendly Moses. It is from here that a long climb begins, which goes along the river through dense thickets to Victoria. This waterfall, remarkable for its beauty, will not leave anyone indifferent!
