Prague is famous for its beautiful architecture. The city has a large number of interesting objects, interesting architectural structures, old buildings. The most attractive streets of Prague are located in the Old Town.

The oldest streets of the city

The first and most ancient street is Karlova, which begins at the Charles Bridge and reaches Mala Square. This street is very attractive for tourists. There are souvenir shops for them. Sightseeing tours begin here. In the Old Town there is also Celetna Street, one of the oldest in Prague. Here you can admire the palaces of noble persons.

Khroznova Street adjoins the Charles Bridge, from where a beautiful panorama opens with the bridge itself. The most popular places include Zlata street, Parizhskaya and Nerudova streets. The houses built into the fortress can be seen on Golden Lane, which is distinguished by its miniature size and striking buildings. The picturesque Nerudova Street approaches the Prague Castle. Prague Castle is a tourist destination. It is surrounded by towers and loopholes. Here is the residence of the Czech President.

Expensive shops and boutiques await customers on Parisian Street. It resembles the French Champs Elysees and runs from the Old Town Square. All buildings in this area have a modern look. Wenceslas Square is the only place where crowds of people can be seen even at night. Wenceslas Square was formerly a horse market. Today it looks like a wide boulevard starting near the equestrian monument of St. Wenceslas.

One of the interesting quarters is Jewish. It is located in the Old Town and is surrounded by ancient houses. Currently, in the Jewish Quarter, old synagogues with rich decoration attract attention.

Famous embankments

Embankments stand out among the streets of Prague. They are particularly beautiful. For example, it is always pleasant to stroll along the Dvořák waterfront. It was created in 1904 and got its name in honor of the composer Dvořák. From this embankment, as well as from others, you can see Prague Castle and Mala Strana. Three embankments line the old part of the city from the Vltava side. The most beautiful embankment of Dvorak approaches to Prazhskaya street. The most noticeable decoration of this street is the smallest bridge in Prague - Chekhov Bridge. Its length is 170 m, and its width is 16 m.
