Crimea at all times was considered one of the best beach and climatic resorts available for the rest of Russians. Weather and nature, sea and sun, relative cheapness and the opportunity to come on vacation without currency and foreign passports attracted thousands of families to rest in Crimea with children.
"Per"…
For those who from year to year choose the Crimean peninsula as a place to spend their summer holidays or vacations, the advantages of such a solution outweigh the possible disadvantages:
- You can go on vacation to the Crimea with children, starting from almost any age. The climate here is quite mild and even in the high season there are several morning or afternoon hours when the sun is mild and allows the baby to play on the sand without risking delicate skin.
- Crimeans willingly rent out their summer houses or apartments to visitors, and therefore there is plenty to choose from, without overpaying and without risking being left without a roof over their heads.
- There are beaches in Crimea for every taste - both pebble and sandy. The resorts are also different, and there is an opportunity to stay in the noisy, popular Yalta, and in the quiet, peaceful Katsiveli, and Alupka rich in attractions.
… or "Against"?
The argument "against" may not be too easy to travel to Crimea with children by car, but by using air travel, you can significantly save both time and effort. Moreover, frequent airline promotions in this direction make it possible to buy tickets for very little money.
Preparing properly
The beach season with temperatures comfortable for swimming for children begins in Crimea in the first half of June and lasts until early October. It is better to book your favorite house or hotel room in advance so that you do not get unpleasant surprises upon arrival. In every city of Crimea there are doctors, pharmacies and necessary medicines, and therefore it makes no sense to carry a large set of medicines with you. Russian medical insurance policies are in force on the territory of the peninsula.
Passwords, appearances, addresses
Knowledgeable people recommend the Sudak area on the east coast of the peninsula or Evpatoria on the west coast for recreation in Crimea with children. In these places there are sandy beaches with a gentle entrance to the sea, and the water temperature is always a couple of degrees higher than on the southern coast. And also there are no too large differences in altitude and you will not have to climb the mountain with a tired baby in your arms, returning home after the beach.
The resorts of the South Coast of Crimea are more popular with those whose children are already suitable for middle and senior school age. There are pebbly beaches, bustling restaurants in the evenings and an excellent water park in the Simeiz area, where you can fly with a breeze from the highest water slide.
