The airport in Saratov has international status and is located within the city on Sokolovaya Gora. Getting to the airport is easy: just take bus 90 or minibus 13, 31, 115 or use a taxi. The city's "air gates" connect Saratov with the largest cities in Russia, and also operate flights to Prague, Istanbul, Antalya, Yerevan and, more recently, Thessaloniki in Greece.
A bit of history
The very first Saratov airfield was built in 1912 nearby, on the site of Navashin Street. It appeared in its present place only in 1931, and for the first time served agricultural aviation.
Parking
Not far from the Saratov terminal building there are two paid guarded parking lots for 100 and 150 cars. On average, the cost of parking is 50 rubles for the first two hours, then - 100 rubles per hour. A little further there is a large parking lot where you can leave your car under guard for a longer period.
Baggage
On the territory of the main building of the terminal there is a left-luggage office, where one place costs 110 rubles. Not far from the check-in counters, practically at the entrance, there is a baggage wrapping service where you can wrap a suitcase or bag in a dense layer of a special protective film that helps protect things from unexpected contamination or damage during transportation. Packing one piece of baggage costs 250 rubles.

The airport in Saratov provides guests and passengers with a full range of services that are in demand when traveling. On the territory of the airport in the arrival area there is a waiting room, not far from which there is a round-the-clock express coffee shop "Coffee-ku", where you can buy delicious coffee and take it with you. There is a flower kiosk next to the coffee shop, which, no doubt, is convenient for those who meet friends or loved ones. On the ground floor of the terminal there is a branch and a round-the-clock ATM of Agroros Bank, where you can perform all the necessary financial procedures.
