Description of the attraction
It is better to start your journey around Sentosa Island with the Tiger Sky attraction. It is the tallest observation tower in the country, formerly known as the Carlsberg Sky Tower, named after the construction sponsor. The tower has been open for tourists since February 2004.
The design is a modern version of the survey wheel. The glazed area can accommodate 72 people. For the comfort of tourists, the cabin is equipped with air conditioning and comfortable seats. Rising to the height of a bird's eye view, the observation deck slowly rotates around its axis, which allows you to take good photos.
Taking advantage of this miracle of technology, tourists have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the island at an altitude of 131 meters above sea level. The tower is located almost in the middle of the island, which allows you to see the coasts of even the neighboring states of Malaysia and Indonesia in clear weather.
Pleasant music inside the cockpit creates a cozy atmosphere.
A journey lasting no more than 15 minutes will give you a lot of impressions. The attraction also operates at night, which gives you the opportunity to admire the city's night lights.
For reliable operation of the tower, equipment checks are carried out daily. A safety specialist is present with the passengers on each trip. In the event of an unforeseen situation or power failure, the standby motor will be activated. There is also a first aid kit and a supply of bottled water inside.
