Description of the attraction

On the outskirts of Pattaya, in the Sirac area, there is the world's largest tiger zoo. It is not like other zoos, where animals live in enclosures, and visitors can only admire them due to the strong net. The Sirac Zoo can be called a contact one. Here they allow for a fee to hold a tiger in their arms and feed him with milk from a bottle. A local photographer will take care of a good souvenir photo at this point. Everyone who wants to pet camels, ride elephants, play with monkeys, Peruvian guinea pigs, wallabies, take care of domestic animals: goats, donkeys, rabbits, cows, etc.

The zoo is home to about 400 tigers. About a hundred of them frolic on a huge playground, near which many spectators usually gather. Guests of the zoo also like the enclosures where the tigress feeds the piglets and the sow brings up the cubs. Tigers participate in shows that are held several times a day at the zoo. The trainer makes them jump over burning rings, dance, walk on ropes. In 2004, a scandal erupted in the world press. The owners of a zoo in Pattaya have been accused of pet abuse. Since then, some tiger tricks have been removed from the program. Interest in the performances is fueled by a young woman who is called the Scorpion Queen. She performs with live scorpions that crawl over her body.

The zoo also has a crocodile farm with 10,000 crocodiles. The meat of these reptiles can be tasted at a local restaurant, and products made from their skin can be bought at the gift shop.
