Seoul Big Park is a park complex located in Gwacheon City, at the foot of Cheonggyesan Mountain. Seoul is the only city in South Korea with a special status, and which is divided into 25 municipalities, which have their own government. In addition, Seoul is one of the largest industrial and financial centers in the world, and in 2015 entered the top ten most expensive cities in the world. Gwacheon, which is home to Seoul Grand Park, is the satellite city of Seoul.

The Big Seoul Park (covering an area of about 900 hectares) houses the Grand Zoo, Children's Zoo, Rose Garden, Seoul Land Amusement Park and Seoul Museum of Modern Art. The territory of the park is hilly in places, there are walking paths. There is a shuttle bus that takes visitors from the metro station free of charge to the art museum and to the upper entrance to the park.

The Big Zoo is home to about 3000 animals, this zoo is included in the list of 10 largest zoos in the world and is a member of the World Organization of Zoos.

The botanical garden in the park is considered the largest in Korea. Various tropical plants, orchids, a large collection of cacti, ferns and even insectivorous plants grow in the garden. On the territory of the rose garden there are about 20,000 rose bushes of more than 200 varieties, and a fountain is installed in the middle of the rose garden.

Sheep, rabbits, ponies, squirrels, parrots live in the Children's Zoo. Children can play with the sheep and are even allowed to feed them.

At the Museum of Modern Art, guests can see paintings by Korean and foreign artists.
