Description of the attraction
"The Land of Knowledge" is an exhibition research and educational center in the Finnish city of Oulu, aimed at informative and fascinating acquaintance of parents and their children with world discoveries in various fields of science, sports and natural phenomena. Moreover, it is the largest center of its kind in all of Scandinavia.
180 interactive exhibits can be tasted and touched. In virtual rooms, you can snowboard downhill, walk on the moon, fly an airplane and go into space, as well as laugh in the room of crooked mirrors, visit the holographic hall, see a bed of nails or take a glass elevator to the observation deck located at 35 meters height.
Those interested can test themselves on the "Diagnosis" installation. However, the most impressive sight of the center is the 16 x 12 meter “Super Screen,” showing documentaries on the traditional fields of science, as well as ufology and parapsychology.
The novelties of the new tourist season are a film about mystical Egypt and an exhibition “Ancient Cultures”. The center constantly hosts various thematic exhibitions in a fascinating educational form.
