Description of the attraction

This is the largest dendrological park in Russia, known not only in our country, but also abroad. It contains more than 1800 species and forms of plants and shrubs from all continents of the planet. The collection consists of 106 families, 310 genera, 1100 species and 600 subspecies. All of them have taken root and feel quite well on Sochi soil. Much of the unique collection, founded by the founder of the Arboretum Park, Sergei Nikolaevich Khudyakov, can now be found on city streets. Majestic eucalyptus trees, palms, candy and tulip trees, yuccas and agaves, Japanese sakura, cypresses and cork oak, giant sequoias and many other representatives of the flora adorn the squares and parks of Sochi's sanatoriums.

The arboretum attracts not only with its plant diversity, but also with its unique park architecture. Here are collected small architectural forms, united in the ensembles "Morning", "Dancer" or decorating numerous pools and gazebos.

The territory of the park is divided into two parts - lower and upper, dissected by Kurortny prospect. The upper and lower arboretums are connected by a cable car, the carriages of which take visitors to the observation deck of the observation tower.

a park A huge park of majestic beauty. It contains a huge number of flowers, bushes, trees, and statues. I recommend this park as a must visit. This is the visiting card of the city. Walking through the park will take at least 2 hours.
