Description of the attraction

The village of Bugrovo is located in the middle of the path between the Mikhailovsky and Svyatogorsky monasteries. At the time of Pushkin, it was a small village of three houses. In modern times, she appears before us in the form in which A. S. knew her. Pushkin. A small number of households is a typical phenomenon for the Pskov province.

The Pushkinskaya Derevnya Museum is the only open-air museum of wooden architecture in the Pskov region. The museum complex tells about the life of a prosperous peasant family of Pushkin's times. In this museum, visitors have the opportunity to get acquainted with the life of a Pskov peasant with the peculiarities of the arrangement of his home, as well as local crafts and trades.

The museum is a village courtyard. The entrance to the courtyard is from the side of the road. Visitors are greeted by a high gate and a wicket. In the museum, in Bugrovo, a "portrait" of the village characteristic of that time has been recreated. The hut is located on a small hillock. On the right is a covered barn, on the left is a courtyard and buildings standing in a row: a barn, a povet, a stable. By the small pond located behind the house there is a smoke sauna. Further - the hermitage (a room where hay and straw are stored) and the most large-scale peasant structure - a barn with a barn. The threshing floor was used for threshing and storing grain.

The porch of the peasant hut leads to the entrance. In the hallway there are hand millstones, on which you can grind grain or, for example, on Christmastide, tell fortunes on the betrothed by placing a metal needle between two millstones. In the Bugrovskaya peasant hut there are two cages. In the first, there is a black-burning stove. Also in the hut there is a table, benches, a washstand on a string and a towel on a nail. In the corner there is a grip and a wide pole, which is lined with pots. In the next half there is a white stove with a chimney. There are attributes of a wedding ceremony, an old chest, etc. Near the hut there is a covered barn, next to which there is a small vegetable garden.

There is a barn directly opposite the house where oats, rye, peas and buckwheat were stored. The barn is adjoined by a povet, a canopy that protects from rain and snow, logs, sledges, and a cart removed under the roof. Behind the house there is a small pond, a bathhouse with the main attribute - a birch broom and a barn with a barn. It is noteworthy that the roofs of the house and buildings are covered with thatch, which, of course, is surprising in our time.

The poet's exile to Mikhailovskoye is a period of the artist's active acquaintance with the life of the Russian countryside. Everything that is presented in the Pushkin Village Museum can be seen in the works of Alexander Sergeevich. In many poems, poems and tales of Pushkin, the life of a peasant is shown, the structure of a peasant village is traced, you can recognize many attributes of a peasant life.

The Pushkin Village Museum is of interest to visitors of all age groups. Little visitors, literally and figuratively, have the opportunity to touch Russian folk culture and get into the magical world of Pushkin's fairy tales. Older visitors, namely pupils and students, will get acquainted in the museum with detailed subject comments on a number of works of the great Russian poet. Adults will be able to take a fresh look at Russian history, seen through the prism of Pushkin's poetry. The museum hosts not only ordinary, interactive and theatrical excursions, but also theatrical performances, the so-called "folk calendar holidays". Here are some of them: “Christmastide has arrived! That's the joy”,“Yegoriy Veshniy”,“Semik-Trinity”,“Three Spas”and others.
