Description of the attraction
Petani is a great beach located 20 km west of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia, on the beautiful Paliki peninsula. The beach, up to 600 meters long, is located at the foot of a mountain serpentine, in a curved bay.
Petani Beach is blue clear water and stunning surroundings - huge cliffs covered with green vegetation, reaching to the sea. The coastal strip is sandy with pebbles at the water line, great depth begins at the very coast, the waves are mostly high.
The beach is partially equipped - umbrellas and sun loungers are placed for visitors, there are bathrooms and an outdoor shower. There are two large taverns, each offering a variety of food, cold and hot drinks and snacks. The restaurants are equipped with parking for five to ten cars, the general parking is located higher, before the descent to the beach.
