Description of the attraction
The Puzhalova Gora ski resort is located in the historical center of Gorokhovets on the border of the Nizhny Novgorod and Vladimir regions. The resort occupies 12 hectares of well-groomed green territory. Puzhalova Gora is one of the best Russian ski resorts. It is the first alpine ski resort to receive a certificate of conformity on July 14, 2010.
The complex is located on the northern side of the slope of Puzhalovaya Gora, where the snow cover lasts longer. The total length of its tracks, which are spread out on magnificent slopes, is about 450 meters, the height is 70 meters.
The Puzhalova Gora ski resort is constantly developing, growing and improving. The lifts were the first to be put into operation after the opening, and visitors fully experienced the benefits of automated lifting. Now there are already five lifts working here. After a while, specialized equipment for spraying artificial snow was brought to the complex. This made it possible to extend the operation of the ski slopes by two months, which is quite significant for the short season of warm winters.
In the off-season, the construction of a modern building began on the territory of the resort, where all services and services should be located. There are more than 200 sets of sports equipment in the rental offices of the ski complex.
For professionals and amateurs of various types of outdoor activities, the resort provides eleven tracks of varying difficulty levels: children's, educational, simple and difficult tourist tracks, etc. For those who love snowboarding, there is a park with a jibbing track. Snowmobile safaris are also available here.
At the very base "Puzhalova Gora", event and sports events are regularly held throughout the season. For children on the territory of the playground there is a children's carousel "Pinoccio".
On the territory of the complex there are: a sports bar, a cafe. For guests of the resort who wish to spend more than one day here, the Vodoley motel, located in the city center and designed for 42 beds, provides its services.
Like other ski resorts, this sports complex provides a wide variety of services. Firstly, there are sixteen modern tracks of different difficulty levels: 3 sports tracks, 4 tourist tracks, training tracks (snowboard, ski, children's), tubing, etc.
The ski complex also offers summer entertainment: "summer sledges" (rodelbahn), descent from the mountain along the monorail, riding on inflatable balloons from the mountain, "mountainboard", which is a board that resembles a skateboard and a snowboard, on which you can ride in summer, a trampoline, a children's playground in the style of a "Russian fortress" and much more. For children on "Puzhalovaya Gora" there is a mini-town, a children's club, a children's skating rink.
