Description of the attraction

Safari Park in Bali combines classic African safari and the features of the Balinese national culture. It is currently home to over 60 species of exotic animals, including several rare and endangered species such as Sumatran tigers, Sumatran elephants, white tigers and Komodo dragons. Park staff, in addition to organizing entertainment infrastructure for tourists, are engaged in the recreation of suitable natural conditions for the preservation of populations of endangered species.

The park is located 45 minutes from the Bali International Airport, spreading over 40 hectares of land in Jianyar in the tropical jungle of the very center of the island. It is located next to the newly paved coastal highway - Jalan Ida Bagus Mantra, which provides easy and quick access to visitors from the main tourist areas: Kuta, Nusa Dua or Sanur, as well as from the East and Central tourist areas of the island: Karangasem and Ubud.

Both adults and children will find a lot of wonderful and surprising things for themselves in the park. For example, you can go on a safari tour with your whole family as you navigate the savannah in a comfortable and safe safari tram, specially designed for your convenience. During the trip, you will have the opportunity to get a close look at the representatives of the wildlife of Indonesia, India and Africa - zebras, rhinos, tigers, lions. In addition, the entire route will be accompanied by a personal guide from Bali Safari.

One of the most popular pastimes is elephant trekking. The elephant ride will last about 30 minutes and will bring you a lot of pleasure and positive impressions. Elephants also participate in special shows for visitors to the park, like some other animals, for example, orangutans or cockatoo parrots.

In the Marine Park, you can visit exciting rides equipped with the latest technology, or spend your time at the water park, or look into the territory of a huge aquarium - a unique place where you can see thousands of fish of all kinds collected around the world. The Marine Park even contains a white shark in a special part of the aquarium, as well as bloodthirsty piranhas and other predatory fish. Park staff advise you to watch the piranha feeding, which takes place daily at 10:30 and 16:00.

As an interactive entertainment, guests of the park are invited to visit the mega-stage of the theater complex for 1200 seats, fully equipped with multimedia technologies and modern sound and lighting systems. The entrance to the theater with a beautiful manicured garden with exotic flowers, shrubs and vast ponds is decorated with an eight-meter statue of Ganesha. The actors in the performances tell about Bali and its people, about the unique traditions, history and culture of the island.

Tired of exotic beauty and wildlife, park guests can eat traditional Balinese food in one of two restaurants within the reserve: Ttsavolion restaurant (this fine restaurant allows you to dine with a view of the Lions Pride behind a glass-protected dining area) or in a restaurant Uma (main restaurant for 800 guests serving international, Asian and local cuisine). During meals, guests are entertained with traditional Barong dance or live Indonesian music.

You can stay in the park overnight - the complex has several comfortable thatched bungalows on its territory, which fit into the wilderness landscape under the shadow of the Balinese sacred mountain Agung.
