Ski complex "Bolshoy Vudyavr" is located in the Murmansk region in the city of Kirovsk. It is located 12 kilometers from it. This ski complex is considered the most modern ski complex in the north of Russia. Subarctic and temperate climatic zones have a positive effect on the formation of alpine skiing and snowboarding in this region. You can ride throughout the year, almost without a break! The pleasure received from skiing in the Khibiny at an altitude of 1060 meters is above all expectations.
Wide, European-level pistes that meet the requirements of experts and novice skiers are a feature of the resort. Clients are offered a comfortable stay for the whole family. The variety of ski slopes gives parents the opportunity to choose a favorable route for the youngest skiers. Alpine skiing experts will be able to improve their skills on the "black" slopes and freeride routes.
Three modern drag lifts, with a total capacity of 2000 people per hour, will allow snowboarding and alpine skiing enthusiasts to quickly reach the summit. Individual lifts with a length of 200 meters can be used to climb the training slope and the trail for "wild cheesecakes". Also, if you wish, you can climb on a snowmobile.
The slopes of the complex begin at an altitude of 1060 meters, and there are also extensive opportunities for skiing on virgin lands. On average, the length of the routes is more than 2 kilometers, but depending on the avalanche situation on the mountain, not all 9 routes at the same time can be open for skiing.
By the beginning of the day, all the main routes of the complex are prepared by snow-compactors, which ideally equal the skiing routes. During the polar nights, lighting is switched on on the resort's tracks, which creates perfect conditions for relaxation and skiing in the dark. Also in the near future, it is planned to introduce a system of artificial snowmaking, which will make it possible to always be the first to open the season for fans of these sports and not be dependent on the vagaries of the weather.
The ski resort "Bolshoy Vudyavr" has a varied infrastructure, which includes not only lifts and slopes with a total length of more than 30 km, but also highly qualified instructors, ski service, equipment rental, a parking lot, a storage room and, of course, a cozy cafe-bar. The rest can be continued in the entertainment complex "Bolshoy Vudyavr", which is located in Kirovsk. Here you can get away from the hustle and bustle and relieve stress from the intense rhythm of the working week. At the ski complex "Bolshoy Vudyavr" at various times, competitions of the international and all-Russian level were held. It should also be noted that in 2010 Bolshoy Vudyavr won the Best Snowboard Park nomination and, just as important, was named the Best Resort in Russia.
