The Great Wall of China is recognized as one of the unique wonders of the world. In the history of world architecture, this building has no equal in its grandeur. Back in the time of the Warring States, the construction of the Great Wall of China began. The state in those days needed protection from enemies, in particular, from the attacks of the Xiongnu. More than a million people were involved in the work, at that time it was a fifth of the country's population.
There is an opinion that the Great Wall of China can be seen from space. It is wrong. There is another common myth that the mortar for bonding stones was mixed from the powder of human bones, and to increase the strength of the structure, the victims at the construction site were buried directly in the wall. But there are no dead and no bones in the structure of the wall, this is not true, and the solution contains ordinary rice flour.

Like a huge snake, the Great Wall of China winds along peaks, mountain ranges and passes. The wall begins in Shaihanguan city in the east and ends in Gansu province in the west.
