There are several popular resorts in the Krasnodar Territory. One of them is Gelendzhik, which is located on the shore of the bay of the same name, just a few tens of kilometers from Novorossiysk. The Black Sea, long beaches, a subtropical climate, the proximity of the Markoth mountains, a long high season - Gelendzhik has too many advantages, and therefore a very large number of loyal fans who come here from year to year bring children and grandchildren, noting with surprise how the city changes over time, it becomes more comfortable, better, more interesting, more modern. The cost of living in Gelendzhik depends on many factors: the time of the year, the proximity of housing to the sea, the availability of basic amenities.

  • Ukrainian Dvorik specializing in Ukrainian cuisine. The waitresses serving the people look like they came from a distant Ukrainian farm. It is customary to try delicious dumplings with meat, which cost about 350 rubles;
  • "Mangal House". The name of the establishment speaks for itself. They offer dishes cooked over an open fire. You can dine for 1500 rubles;
  • Saloon Western is an establishment designed in the style of the saloons of the Wild West. This is a pretty nice place where famous DJs work. Dinner here will cost 1000 rubles.

Entertainment

Arriving in Gelendzhik with children, you can go broke, because there are three water parks built here, where you can disappear all day long.

  • Waterpark "Begemot" is located on Lunacharsky Street. It consists of three pools with 17 slides and an extensive children's corner, where little ones can fool around in the company of the same toddlers while their parents and older siblings experience the attractions more seriously. The entrance ticket to the Begemot water park will cost 1300 rubles.
  • The Dolphin water park near the central beach costs 500 rubles. There is less entertainment here, but the place is still very pleasant.
  • Gelendzhik is also home to the country's largest water park, which is called the Golden Bay. It offers more than a hundred slides and attractions for every taste and age, 17 swimming pools and several catering establishments. You can visit it for 1,700 rubles per person. Children's tickets to all water parks cost almost half the price.

It is also worth going to the local dolphinarium, where wonderful shows with the participation of marine animals take place. Tickets will cost 800-1700 rubles, depending on the time of the show and the chosen place for watching dolphins.

A visit to the Safari Park will also be remembered, where animals that have suffered from human actions, for example, who worked in a circus or visited a street photographer, are kept. On the territory of the park there is also the Maritime Museum, which displays ancient fossils, coins with a marine theme, items obtained by divers from lost ships. As a bonus, guests are offered to ride a cable car that rises to the Markoth ridge. All these locations are available for 1500 rubles.

Transport

There is no railway station in Gelendzhik. The main public transport here is buses and minibuses. They will take you to the nearest resort villages and Novorossiysk.

A bus ticket that moves around the city costs 23 rubles. The fare to neighboring towns will be more expensive. You can get to Novorossiysk, which is located 25 km from Gelendzhik, by bus for 69 rubles.

The first buses leave at 6:00 am, the last at 22:00. But the bus schedule may change. Therefore, when planning a trip around the city or from Gelendzhik, specifically specify the departure time of your transport and do not rely on "chance". However, if the buses do not run for some reason, you can always take a taxi to the desired point.

Taxi drivers charge a landing fee (about 60-100 rubles) and estimate each kilometer of the road in Gelendzhik at a maximum of 25 rubles, in the suburbs - 30 rubles.
