The Polish mountains are not as high as the Alpine mountain ranges, but they are comparable to them for the picturesque landscapes and the beauty of winter. They are safer for those tourists who treat their winter vacation not as a sporting challenge, but as an opportunity to have a good rest and experience the joy of unexpected experiences. Anyone who decides to spend his leisure time in the Polish mountains will make the right choice, as the mountains will provide him not only with an abundance of snow, but also new discoveries and joy, as well as the opportunity to practice winter sports.

Mountains in Poland are located in the south of the country. In the southwest, along the border between Poland and the Czech Republic, the Sudetenland stretches with the highest mountain range Karkonosze (Sniezka Peak - 1603 m). In the southeast, along the border of Poland and Slovakia, there are the Carpathians, which are divided into the Beskydy and Tatras, the only Polish mountains of an alpine nature.
