However, Sde Dov is a domestic airport through which only flights within Israel are carried out, and the bulk of tourists arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport. After many hours of flight, getting from one airport to another, and then waiting for the departure and the flight itself is not a prospect for the faint of heart, it is much easier to get from Ben Gurion to Eilat directly, without leaving the airport, from where the resort is 312 km away. To do this, it is enough to get from the international terminal to the domestic one by a free shuttle, which will take about 15 minutes.
Every day, 5-6 flights depart from Ben Gurion to Eilat, but tickets for them are sold out at least a few days before the departure date, so early booking is more relevant here than ever. A ticket to Eilat will cost about $ 70 - the most expensive way, but fast and comfortable.
Railway
This method is very conditional, since there is no railway in Eilat itself and you can get there by train only with transfers. Nevertheless, this method has its followers, and there are many of them, since it allows you to make another mini-trip and see Israel.
First you need to take a train to the city of Beer Sheva. The railway station is located right at the airport and you don't have to go far. Upon arrival, you need to walk 300 meters from the station to the bus station and take bus 392, which goes to Eilat. Travel time will be a little over two hours.
Bus
The cheapest way to get from Tel Aviv to Eilat. The ticket will cost $ 50 per person, while you are guaranteed a calm and comfortable atmosphere throughout the journey. Travel time is about five hours.
