The main inhabitants of the park are peacocks, toucans, parrots, birds quite calmly walk along the paths, not paying attention to either people or cats. The company of exotic inhabitants is made up of animals, including kangaroos, giraffes, guinea pigs. In this park, you can not only walk, getting acquainted with the world of avifauna, but also visit a parrot show, buy souvenirs, sit in a cozy restaurant, playgrounds work for children.
Paphos and surroundings
You can search for sights and interesting places not only in the city, but also outside it. A trip to Yeroskipa, a small village located in the suburbs, can be a memorable event. Firstly, it occupies a place on a hill with stunning views - wild rocks, azure sea and sky, emerald trees.
According to legend, it was in this place that the Gardens of the Gods were once located, of which nothing remained. One of the main attractions of the village is the church of St. Paraskeva, reminiscent of a Byzantine basilica. On the walls of this religious building, the so-called geometric painting has been preserved, a rather rare phenomenon in Cyprus.
In Yeroskipu you can visit the Museum of Folk Art, the items collected here are the national treasure of the country. Many tourists, smiling, talk about the delicious attraction of the village - the local Turkish delight, which can be bought on every corner.
