Description of the attraction
The aquarium, located right in the center of Paphos city, is extremely popular with tourists and is an ideal place for a family holiday. Both adults and children will be able to find there a lot of new and exciting things for themselves, because when visiting this place it may seem that you are actually walking on the seabed.
In total, there are 72 large tanks in the aquarium, which were created using the most modern technologies made in the USA - filters, pumps and purification systems. In addition, each of these tanks is equipped with special lighting, which very favorably emphasizes the beauty of the colors and shapes of its interesting inhabitants. Also, the creators of the aquarium tried to bring the conditions of keeping fish as close as possible to the conditions of their natural habitat - the underwater landscape, waves, vegetation correspond to those in which they live in nature.
The rich living collection that you can see with your own eyes in the Paphos Aquarium consists of a huge variety of marine and freshwater fish that have been brought there from all over the world - oceans, seas and rivers. Almost every species of fish there has a funny nickname, which is of particular interest to children - there is a crow fish, a "dog's face" and even a professor fish. In addition, the huge crocodile tank is a real gem of the aquarium.
Also on the territory of the aquarium there is a small restaurant, from the windows of which a breathtaking view of the city harbor and the Paphos Castle, and a large souvenir shop opens.
Unfortunately, the Paphos Aquarium is currently closed.

Aquarium2 I confirm, the aquarium has been closed for a couple of years. Private business failed:)
Interestingly, no one has been there for a long time, or they just went - they did not find it and they forgot. It was a shame to waste time looking for him and find only ruins.
