The Black Sea balneological resort Anapa is famous for its ideal climate for summer recreation for children, a magnificent sandy beach and a diverse range of entertainment offered to its guests. The most popular street in the city is called the Anapa embankment, which stretches for 1600 meters from the Anapka river to the sea station.

Fountains create a pleasant coolness even on a hot afternoon, and flower sculptures are real works of art. Every summer, a dolphin and an octopus, a whale fish and a ship with scarlet sails, a peacock and even an elephant traditionally "grow" on the embankment.

Archaeologists have discovered stone-paved streets, walls of residential buildings, workshops and wineries. Marble slabs with inscriptions testify to the burials of the nobility, and the finds in the most famous sarcophagus of Gorgippa served as the basis for the exposition "/>
