Aquatica (Orlando, Florida, USA)
This water park has 36 water slides of various lengths, heights and steepness. A distinctive feature and the main "feature" of this water park are the slides called "Dolphin Plunge". They are 2 transparent pipes that go through a special pool with … dolphins! In addition to this slide, the park has other equally exciting attractions. For example, thrill-seekers will love the Walhalla Wave attraction. The hill, the name of which refers us to the world of the Vikings, is a high-speed launch in complete darkness through a tunnel as high as a 7-storey building. For the youngest guests of the water park, smaller versions of "adult" slides are available. Children will love the Walkabout Water playground. In it, they will be able to find a variety of slides, and rope tunnels with ladders, and plenty of splash in special children's pools.
For those who prefer a quiet rest and relaxing water activities, the park has "Loggerhead Lane" - a lazy river where you can take a breath while floating on an inflatable ring. For those who like to lie on the sand and sunbathe in the sun, there is a snow-white beach on the territory of the water park.
Siam Park (Tenerife, Spain)
Siam Park is one of the main attractions of the island of Tenerife in Spain. The territory of the park itself occupies almost 19 hectares. The main distinguishing feature of this park is the Thai theme. It contains absolutely all slides, entertainment and even restaurants. Interestingly, Kristoff Kissling, the park's designer, even received official permission from the Thai royal family to use the name and style. The princess of Thailand is said to have attended the official opening of the park.
The most colorful and interesting attraction in the park is the Tower of Power slide. Its height is 28 meters, which is equal to the height of a ten-story building! After a thrilling flight downhill, you find yourself in a glass tube that goes through an aquarium with different types of fish, including sharks! Another slide, which is definitely worth a visit, is the so-called "Dragon" slider, which is a huge funnel with a diameter of 20 meters, inside which they arrange a real light show! For those who want not only to relax, but also to learn something new, there is a surfing school in the "Palace of Waves" pool. And lovers of a more relaxing holiday will love the rafts, on which you can slowly sail along the river.
Tropical Island (Halbe, Germany)
Unlike previous water parks, this park is located indoors. The scale of the pavilion, the total area of which is about 70 thousand square meters, is really amazing! In such a huge room, as many as 8 football fields or even the American Statue of Liberty could fit! In the same park, there is the largest indoor pool in the world, and the pavilion can accommodate 6 thousand visitors per day! Lovers of heights and beautiful views can even ride a hot air balloon to see all the beauty that Tropical Island has to offer.
The Tropical Islands is truly a relaxation park. The entire territory of the park is divided into several thematic zones. In the middle of the park there is an amazing tropical forest, in the thickets of which orchids, palms and mangroves grow, among which peacocks and flamingos are walking calmly. And in the "Tropical Village" you can find the national cuisine of many countries, including Congo, Bali, Thailand and Malaysia. The pools of the water park - "South Sea" and "Laguna Bali", as well as waterfalls, a jacuzzi, a sandy beach with volleyball courts and the largest water attraction in Germany, 25 meters high, seem to be a real sultry resort located in the very center of Europe.
