Where to go on vacation in Thailand in October?
It is from the second month of autumn that tourists seriously begin to look closely at the country after the rainy season, which lasts all September, so you should take care of booking tours in advance.
Do not be afraid to go to Pattaya in October: even if precipitation falls there this month (their duration is a maximum of 1-2 hours), then, as a rule, in the evening and at night, when vacationers "hang out" in clubs or sleep, and in general they do not cause any serious inconvenience.
October is a great time to relax on Koh Samui, Phangan and Koh Tao: there, even at noon, weather conditions do not cause discomfort to vacationers (all types of entertainment are at their service).

- to the Wat Tham Suea temple - there you can see stone statues of tigers, as well as archaeological finds - pottery, various tools and a cast of the footprint of the Buddha.
Samet Island
In October, you can expect +32 on Samet, which is conducive to spending time on the beaches:
- Ao Prao is a quiet place surrounded by luxury hotels, and from the local pier, tourists are invited to go on a mini-trip by boat or excursion boat,
- Ao Wong Duean - on the 500-meter beach, which is covered with fine white sand, sun loungers are installed; active vacationers will be able to pamper themselves with a variety of activities on the water, especially since inflatable mattresses and equipment for diving are rented there; here you can also resort to the services of a beautician in a beauty salon or a masseur in a massage parlor,
- Hat Sai Kaew - on the beach, more than 1 km long, there is white sand, a toilet, shower room, cafe, and palm trees grow, under the shade of which you can hide from the sun; Hat Sai Kaew offers sun loungers, water skis and swimming rings for rent, and everyone can get a Thai massage; in the evenings discos are held in local bars,
- Ao Phai - the coast does not suffer from a lack of restaurants and bars; During the day you can ride a jet ski here, and in the evening you can visit the fire shows.
Samet Island is popular with divers - it is better to dive on the south and west coast, which is famous for its coral formations. Under the water you will be able to meet barracudas, sea turtles, reef and whale sharks, schools of colorful fish …
As for the east coast, it is suitable for canoeing and kayaking (rental price 200 baht / hour). Those who are not indifferent to sailing should take a closer look at the water area located to the north of Hat Sai Kaew beach (winds blow and strong currents prevail here).
Samet is interesting not only for its beaches: guests of the island should visit the Wat Ko Samet temple, on the territory of which there is a pond (there are fish swimming there), and a statue of Buddha is installed nearby. In addition, tourists should find an interesting sculpture: it depicts a prince playing the flute and a mermaid sitting next to him (located between Hat Sa iKaew and Ao Phai beach).
