The waterfalls of North America are beautiful natural formations, which are visited by a considerable number of tourists from all over the world.
Yosemite falls
It consists of three segments - upper, middle and lower waterfalls, with heights of 435, 206 and 98 m, respectively. Climbing to its top, it is recommended to make stops at observation platforms.
On the territory of the park, where Yosemite Falls is located, you can find the grave of Galen Clark (the founder of the park) and meet 400 species of animals, and there are also conditions for rafting, fishing, climbing, skiing, biking and horses. Niagara Falls
It consists of 3 waterfalls, about 50 m high - they are named “Horseshoe” (Canadian side; width - 800 m), “American” and “Veil” (American side). The Canadian and American Falls are separated by Goat Island, where there are souvenir shops, pedestrian walkways, observation decks (Table Rock is considered the best) and the Nikola Tesla monument.
If you wish, you can go to the “Journey behind the waterfall” - it is carried out on a special elevator (cost - $ 12-16, depending on the season), on which tourists (each of them is supplied with a raincoat and a package where personal belongings can be folded) are delivered to 3 tunnels (from here stunning views of the falling water streams).
The surroundings are no less interesting - tourists are advised to visit the Niagara Botanical Garden, where the flower clock (created from 19,000 flowers) is of interest, the fragrant “dial” of which is updated 2 times a year, as well as the Niagara Butterfly Greenhouse.
Concorde Falls
Concorde is a cascade of 3 waterfalls (at the foot you will be able to plunge into clear cold water), which are surrounded by tropical vegetation. An asphalt road leads to them (those who want to visit the falls on their own can rent a car) and a forest trail leading from the Grand Etang National Park.
The most interesting thing is to travel with a guide - this will not only save travelers from the risk of getting lost, but also allow them to learn more about these places from a specialist.
Basaseachi waterfall
The waterfall, more than 200 m high, creates 2 streams that, merging in high mountains, fall from the canyon wall (the best time to visit is July-September). And in the territory adjacent to Basaseachi, travelers will be able to see red and gray squirrels, raccoons, antelope hares and other wild animals.
