Chicago, like the capital of the United States, is of interest for traveling groups: they can admire buildings belonging to different architectural styles, old buildings and ultra-modern neighborhoods, relax in numerous parks, and see world masterpieces in local museums.
Willis Tower
The skyscraper, more than 440 m high, has an observation deck - climbing up to the 103rd floor in one of the high-speed elevators, visitors will be able to admire Chicago, neighboring states and Lake Michigan (beautiful views are opened thanks to 4 retractable glass balconies that can accommodate up to 5 people).
Cloud Gate
The sculpture is 10 m high, famous for its bean-shaped form and is the work of Anish Kapoor. This most photographed landmark of Chicago (previously it was forbidden to photograph the sculpture) is a recognizable symbol of the city.
Sculpture by Picasso
According to one version, the creation of the 15.5-meter original statue (style - cubism) was inspired by the image of Lydia Corbett, to whom Picasso dedicated many of his works. Today, this sculpture is a popular meeting place, where farmers and Christmas markets are often set up, musical performances and other events are organized.
Buckingham fountain
There are always a large number of people near the beautiful fountain (every minute from 134 jets emitting about 14,000 gallons of water), made in the rococo style of pink marble: their goal is not only to admire the structure resembling a wedding cake on several floors, but also to take photographs, toss a coin while making a wish. And in the evening, Buckingham Fountain delights guests with a light and music show (more than 800 lamps are used for this purpose; the first show is held at 9 am, and the last at 10 pm).
John Hancock Center
This skyscraper is another symbol of Chicago, famous for its restaurant, observation deck with a circular view (tourists are happy to visit it to admire Lake Michigan and panoramic views of Chicago; guests observe a special panorama in the evening when the city shines from the lights on) and an observatory (thanks to the available here, with audio guides in English, tourists will take a multimedia tour and learn about Chicago sights; from here, a 360˚ view opens up) located on the 93-100 floors, as well as shops on the 1-5 floors, and the swimming pool on the 44th floor.
