The capital of Tuscany invites tourists to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of antiquity while participating in colorful festivals, buy clothes and cosmetics for shopping, get acquainted with the city center, famous for cathedrals, street sculptures and palaces.
Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore

Basilica of Santa Croce
The Basilica (a visit to it will cost 6 euros) is the burial place of 300 famous Florentines, in particular Michelangelo, Rossini, Galileo. It is worth noting that Santa Croce allows tourists to admire frescoes, multicolored stained glass windows, 16 chapels decorated by Florentine craftsmen (Giotto, Gaddi, Donatello). Concerts and festivals are often held on the square in front of the basilica, which cannot but delight travelers (in addition, the locals indulge in Florentine football here).
