The capital of Spain is a paradise for tourists: they will be able to shop for necessary things in outlets, visit many museums and galleries, spend time in green parks and nightclubs …
Royal Palace
Despite the fact that today the Spanish king does not live in the palace permanently, events are held here in the form of signing documents, presenting credentials and festive meals. Visitors to the palace will be able to admire the canvases of Velazquez, Goya, Caravaggio, various collections (Stradivari violins, ancient weapons) and art treasures of the 17-19 centuries (during the excursion, tourists will be offered to walk through 20 rooms, including visiting the Throne Room, the ceiling of which is decorated with stucco molding; the ticket costs 10 euros).

Monument "Bear and Strawberry Tree"
Travelers should take a photo against the background of this monument, which is a symbol of Madrid (it was created by the sculptor N. Santafe).
Buen Retiro Park
While relaxing in the park, you can admire sculptures and fountains, feed tame squirrels, have a snack in a cafe or sit by the lake (you should take a ride on a rented boat on the lake), and if you're lucky, attend a free music concert. It is worth noting that on weekends, guests are entertained by clowns, fortune tellers and street musicians.
Alcala gate
The granite structure (neoclassical style) consists of five spans: three of them (decorated in the form of semicircular arches) are decorated with lion heads, and the other two (rectangular arches) are a cornucopia.
Sibelius Square
This square is interesting for tourists because of the two symbols of Madrid located here. These include:
- Sibelius Fountain: Tourists are advised to capture themselves in front of the fountain, decorated with a marble statue of the goddess Cybele. It is worth noting that people often make appointments in the square near the fountain, and fans celebrate the victories of Real Madrid football club noisily.
- Sibelius Palace: has three towers (two of them are decorated with busts of the Spanish conquerors, and on the central one there is a clock, the diameter of which is 3 m); the facade of the palace is decorated with decorative and allegorical elements (stars, knights with swords). The palace itself should be visited for the exhibitions and chamber music concerts taking place here.
Prado Museum
The museum invites guests to view at least 7,000 exhibits, and close attention should be paid to Spanish painting of the 17-18 centuries.
