The districts of Porto are very different from each other, and each of them has its own unique flavor.
District names and descriptions
- Cordoaria: interesting for its shops, classicist buildings and green park (ideal for walking surrounded by trees).

- Ribeira: here vacationers will come across buildings decorated with azulejo tiles in white and blue colors; the house where Heinrich the Navigator was born; fountain (decorated with the country's coat of arms), at the base of which is the figure of John the Baptist. It is worth noting that walking along the cobbled streets of Ribeira, you can go to the banks of the Douro River. At the end of June, the area attracts guests with the celebration of the festival of São João: blows on the head with a hammer are the most unusual things that will await them (don't worry: the hammers will be toy or inflatable).
