The French airport Strasbourg is located in Enzheim and about 10 km from the city of Strasbourg. About a million passengers are served here annually. History
The first flights from Strasbourg began to be made back in 1920, at that time they were carried out from the test site. In 1945, the airport became a military base, which lasted until 1994. After 1947, passenger flights were gradually restored; in the 50s of the last century, flights to Paris were resumed. Since then, the airport has been modernized three times - in 1973, 1988 and 1999.
After the airport in Strasbourg received the status of open (1980), all EU countries were able to carry out transit flights through this airport.
