And this, according to many tour operators, Alanya, which is located from Antalya, where the international airport is located and where all travelers who decide to rest on the Turkish Riviera arrive, are two hours away, that is, further than the rest of the coastal towns. Alanya is chosen by the democratic public for its low prices for accommodation, meals and excursions. It is also worth noting that this city is considered the southernmost resort in Turkey, which means that you can relax there even in the off-season, that is, in April and October.

Bozyazy
Turks also rest in the Mediterranean, however, in completely different resorts, where there are almost no Europeans. Therefore, the prices there are an order of magnitude lower. In these cities, there are no widely promoted hotels of world chains with huge swimming pools and a fenced-in area where outsiders cannot get. There are no gourmet restaurants or shops with famous brands. These are small, cozy towns with ancient history and their own traditions.
The title of the cheapest resort in Turkey, located on the Mediterranean Sea, can be shared by the cities of Bozyazi and Erdemli. Both of them are located in the Mersin province on the coast. It is remote from the major tourist centers of the city, which explains the small number of tourists.
Bozyazi is a quiet, calm village, holiday village, where many Ankara residents have summer villas. You can stay here in a rented apartment, which only adds a unique flavor to your vacation. The sea in Bozyazi is so clean that a colony of endangered white-bellied seals lives on the local beach. For entertainment, a visit to the ruins of the ancient Greek city of Nagydos, which are located on a hill above the city, is offered here.
The city of Erdemli, which is home to about 50 thousand people, is better known as a beach holiday destination. His magistrate is investing in the development of tourism infrastructure. However, the promotion of this place is still very far away.

Edremit
There are resorts, known only to the local population, and on the Aegean Sea. These include Edremit, located a little off the coast, and therefore offering interesting, budget options for summer vacations. Around the city there is a natural park Kazhdagi, which can be visited with an excursion.
The city of Ayvalik is also inexpensive, which, on the contrary, occupies the coastal strip near the island of Kunda. From the east, the city is bordered by low hills overgrown with olive and pine groves. Ayvalik has two of the longest sandy beaches in Turkey, which stretch for 30 km. Ayvalik is also loved by divers.
