Description of the attraction
The magnificent sandy beach of Trulos is one of the best beaches on the Greek island of Skiathos. It is located on the southern coast of Skiathos, 9-10 km from the capital of the island and about 5 km from Koukounaris. Trulos got its name from the tiny dome-shaped island located right in front of the beach.
Trulos beach is well organized. There are also some excellent bars and taverns right on the beach. Sun loungers and sun umbrellas can be rented upon request. However, you can hide from the scorching Greek sun in the shade of picturesque pine trees growing along the beach. The entrance to the water is very convenient, so Trulos is perfect for families with children. Lovers of water sports will not be bored here either.
The area around Trulos offers a wide range of accommodation (hotels, apartments, hostels, etc.), shops and many good restaurants, taverns and cafes.
There are also a couple of good secluded beaches on either side of Trulos. As they are somewhat difficult to access on foot, you can get there by boat.
