History
The airport in Naberezhnye Chelny was founded in 1971. Its first passenger flight took place on December 21 on the An-24 aircraft. It received the status of an international airline in 1998. Currently, work is underway on the reconstruction and modernization of the airport, the purpose of which is to raise the status to category C.
