The international airport in Magadan "Sokol" is located 50 kilometers from the city towards its northern part. The runway of the airline, reinforced with asphalt concrete, is 3.4 km long, which allows it to take all types of aircraft without restriction. For many years the airport has been cooperating with Russian air carriers "Aurora", "IrAero", S7 Airlines and other well-known companies of the Russian Federation, providing air communication of the region with major cities of Russia and foreign countries. The airport's capacity is 600 passengers per hour.

The airport terminal has a full range of services to provide passengers with a comfortable service. Check-in for business class passengers starts 2 hours and ends 40 minutes before departure. For passengers on a regular flight, check-in starts 3 hours before the departure of the plane.

Transport
Regular buses leave from the Sokol airport to Magadan every half hour. Buses return at the same frequency. Also, the movement of minibuses designed for 16 seats has been established. In addition, you can use the services of a city taxi.
