The airport in Astana is one of the most modern in Eurasia, consisting of passenger and cargo terminals.
The five-level passenger terminal, for the convenience and timely delivery of passengers to the aircraft, is equipped with the most modern technical means.
The airport is capable of serving more than seven hundred passengers every hour, and the throughput capacity of the cargo terminal is about six hundred tons of cargo per day.

The airport could receive and serve only small aircraft.
Today one of the world's largest airports accepts any aircraft without restrictions. About three million passengers are served here annually.
