Children's Musical Theater. NI Sats, or Moscow State Academic Children's Musical Theater named after N. I. Sats, was established in 1965. It became the world's first professional musical children's theater.
The theater building on Vernadsky Avenue, specially built for it, was named the eighth wonder of the world for its original, very unusual architecture. The Blue Bird hovers over the dome of the theater. The symbol of the theater is a golden harp. She is also decorated with the Bird of Happiness.
The theater bears the name of its founder - Natalia Ilyinichna Sats, People's Artist of the Soviet Union, laureate of the USSR State Prize. N. I. Sats (1903 - 1993) is a man with a legendary destiny. She has fantastic achievements in her life baggage. She was called "Mother of children's theaters in the world."
The theater has two troupes - opera and ballet. Your own symphony orchestra. The theater's repertoire includes more than thirty performances. They are designed for different age categories. There are performances for the youngest spectators and teenagers.

Rimsky-Korsakov, "Cinderella" by Prokofiev, "The Child and Magic" by M. Ravel, "The Magic Flute" by V.-A. Mozart and "Eugene Onegin" by P. I. Tchaikovsky.

Theater N. I. Sats acquaints children with all existing types of musical performances. The theatrical repertoire includes operas, musicals, musical performances, operettas and even comic opera. The theater performances always feature fascinating plots, spectacular scenery and beautifully executed, colorful costumes.
In the theater, everything is done to make the show bright, interesting and memorable for the children. During the intermissions, the audience is offered an exhibition of sculptures of characters from fairy tales, which is located in the foyer of the theater. In the upper foyer, Lel plays the flute, Boyan plays the harp strings, and Orpheus holds the cithara in his hands. On the openwork bridges above the foyer, Kolobok, Little Red Riding Hood, Vasilisa the Beautiful, Buratino attract attention. The beautiful enclosures are filled with the chirping of canaries and parrots. The winter garden is decorated with an aquarium with outlandish fish.
