The huge continent is located in two hemispheres at once and the calendar summer begins here in June and December, depending on the geographical coordinates:

The air usually warms up to + 27 ° С, like water, but the hottest time is still considered the period from December to May. Monsoons come to the island in June and bring some coolness until November. Most rainfall occurs in January.
- In Tunisia, even a 30-degree heat is easily tolerated due to the dry air. You can swim on local beaches already in May, and until the end of October, the thermometers in the water show about + 25 ° С.
- Summer in South Africa begins in October and the beach season here lasts until March. The air warms up to + 30 ° C during the day, and at night it can be cool - up to + 20 ° C and below, and therefore it is worth taking warm clothes for rest even in the midst of the South African summer.
- The dry, tropical climate of the Cape Verde Islands allows for comfortable sunbathing almost all year round. In summer, the air warms up to + 32 ° С, and in winter thermometers rarely drop below + 25 ° С during the day. Going to African resorts, check if you need to get vaccinated. In many regions there is a danger of infections that are easier to prevent. The best surfing is in the Tamarina Bay area, where strong waves occur almost constantly. Calm water awaits fans of comfortable swimming in the east of Mauritius on the Bel Mar beach. Party-goers can find a lot of entertainment in the southwest on Pereyber Beach, where young people and fans of active nightlife prefer to stay. Beach holidays in Africa in Mauritius are especially popular among those who dream of solid fishing - it is in this part of the Indian Ocean that the largest specimens of blue marlin, tuna and hammer fish fall for the bait.
