Ushtrish Dolphinarium is a basic enterprise for exploring the possibilities of keeping dolphins in captivity. Opened in 1984 in the village of Utrish, which is between Novorossiysk and Anapa, the marine scientific station is focused on the study of these particular animals. It was created on the initiative and under the leadership of the Institute of Ecology and Evolution. A. N. Severtsov RAS, and now in Russia there are already several of its branches.
