The Adler History Museum is located near Bestuzhev Park, in the office building of the Caucasian Biosphere Reserve and occupies several rooms. The total area of the museum is only 200 sq. m, which includes five halls, three offices and a storage. There are more than 15 thousand exhibits in the museum's funds. The museum tells about the history of Adler, from ancient times to the present.

The museum began its history in the 50s. XX century, when I. K. Nedolya began collecting exhibits to create a museum. Initially, the house of I. K. Nedolya, but after his death, all the exhibits were moved to a modern building. The building, which today houses the Adler History Museum, was erected in 1913. At that time there was a ready-to-wear shop. Today the building is a valuable cultural object, a repository of important and interesting information for the history of this region.

The museum constantly studies the Adler region, the found historical references are processed, all of them are used by museum workers during excursions for local residents and guests of the city.

The museum has three halls. In the first hall - the archaeological one - you can learn in more detail about the entire history of the Adler region, starting from prehistoric times. The second hall will acquaint its visitors with the history of the region from the beginning of the 19th century. until the arrival of Soviet power. Exhibits in this room will tell about local tribes, the Caucasian War, as well as the settlement of Ukrainians, Belarusians, Russians, Armenians and Georgians in local lands. Here you can see documents, photographs, different schemes, household items and clothes.

The third hall of the museum is dedicated to the times of the formation of the Soviet Union. The exhibits in this hall tell about the revolution, the civil war, the development of the Adler region before the start of the Great Patriotic War. The fourth hall of the museum tells about the difficult war times. It contains military maps, weapons, photographs, clothing and medical instruments. And the last, fifth room tells its guests about the post-war period.

Between the halls there is a souvenir shop where everyone can buy souvenirs or books.
