Description of the attraction

One of the most popular tourist destinations in Greece today is undoubtedly the island of Rhodes, which is famous for its many excellent resorts and an abundance of a wide variety of historical and cultural attractions, attracting thousands of tourists from all over the world every year.

Washed on one side by the Mediterranean Sea and on the other by the Aegean Sea, Rhodes offers its guests a wide range of beaches for all tastes, both sandy and pebble. Fans of sandy beaches and a relatively calm Mediterranean Sea should consider the east coast of the island, for example, Vliha Beach. It is located in a picturesque bay about 45-47 km from the administrative center - the city of Rhodes and only 4 km from the city of Lindos.

Vliha Beach is the crystal-clear and warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea (the entrance to the sea is gentle, which is ideal for families with small children), sun loungers and sun umbrellas (for rent), as well as bars and taverns where you can have a snack and drink refreshing drinks … A variety of water sports are at the service of fans of active beach recreation. There is a very good selection of hotels and apartments in the vicinity of the beach.

Vliha beach is quite large (the length of the beach is about 1200 m) and therefore a large number of tourists can comfortably accommodate here. However, if you prefer a more "secluded getaway", you can take a walk to the southern end of the beach, where you will surely find your own nook and cranny. This beach is also preferred by residents of neighboring Lindos, whose beaches are packed to capacity during the holiday season.
