Description of the attraction
As soon as 1910 came, a long-awaited event took place on Sadovaya Street in the city of Cherepovets - the townspeople saw a one-story building with the name of the Royal Vio cinema. On the opening day, all the window openings of the cinema were colorfully and brightly illuminated with multi-colored lights, and the majestic high doors let in the curious citizens of Cherepovets. Throughout the day, a sound orchestra under the direction of the popular Kapellmeister Kumferblat sounded on the street, not far from the newly opened cinema.
Many years have passed since the opening of the cinema, but no one still knows for sure what exactly the words "piano" and "viot" mean. The newspaper Voice of Cherepovets, famous in 1910, wrote with delight that the Royal Vio was a specially built building, which was luxuriously and effectively decorated with electric light, consisting of more than thirty thousand candles. The ceilings and floors in the new building were made of non-combustible material. In addition, the room had four external exits, as well as a water supply system with huge reservoirs of spare running water and specially adapted fire hoses.
The famous "Royal Vio" has a projection chamber built of the same fireproof material, which is separated from the auditorium by a small stone wall. The process of projection of pictures is carried out by a special apparatus of a completely new model, driven by an electric motor. Numerous visitors can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a carefree movie viewing with an always luxurious and colorful panorama of paintings, which cannot be compared with other cinemas, not only in quality, but also in plot.
The Royal Vio Cinema is a real cultural and entertainment center, which has five large cinema halls equipped with the latest 3D technology. The cinema accommodates about one and a half thousand visitors, has about seven thousand square meters of premises, an entertaining playground, a 4D attraction bar, a cafe and, most importantly, surprisingly comfortable soft armchairs. As already mentioned, the cinema uses the latest German cinema projection equipment of advanced German technology.
Despite the fact that today the popular Royal Vio cinema is the most modern cinema complex in the city of Cherepovets, it had a rather long history of existence. It is worth noting that over the entire period of its existence, the building of the cinema has undergone reconstruction several times. The last time a major overhaul in the cinema was carried out two years ago. As a result of these works, the "Royal Vio" building has literally changed beyond recognition, because practically nothing has remained of a typical cinema of the Soviet era. Interior and exterior decoration works have turned the old cinema into a modern cinema complex. But there is one point that has remained intact and has survived from the former cinema to the present day - this is an ordinary traditional stage, equipped with modern technology for holding various kinds of concerts, not only of the popular dance, but also of theatrical and even circus directions.
At the moment, the Royal Vio cinema in the city of Cherepovets is the most favorite place for leisure and recreation, as well as versatile entertainment for all citizens and guests of the city. It is in this place that you can see the latest novelties of the domestic and foreign film industry almost simultaneously with the world premieres of films. In addition, the cinema also has special programs presented by retrospectives of Soviet films. In "Royal Vio" there is a special club in which only auteur films are shown, as well as the direction of cinematography presented by the art-house movement for true connoisseurs of the "film is not for everyone" genre.
