Strobl am Wolfgangsee is an Austrian city located in the federal state of Salzburg on the border with Upper Austria. The city is located on the eastern side of Lake Wolfgangsee in the spa region near St. Gilgen.

The famous city of St. Wolfgang is within walking distance of Strobl am Wolfgangsee, there are general excursions, including the Postalm and Schafberg plateau (1783 meters above sea level), which can be reached by cogwheel railway.
