Description of the attraction
Chizarira National Park is located on a steep escarpment of the Zambezi River and is an uncomfortable nature reserve. Here you can find numerous examples of wildlife, including the black rhinoceros. A virgin park with rather rugged vegetation sometimes makes it difficult to see the terrain and observe the animals. This park is intended for true enthusiasts who can discover the real wild and unspoiled nature and its beauty. The best view of the park is with a guide. Several tourist camps are located along the escarpment, mainly where the inexhaustible mountain springs flow and a spectacular view of the mountain crevices opens up. The park is open to the public all year round, but to get to the escarpment in the rain, tourists are advised to use an all-wheel drive vehicle.
