Description of the attraction
Karting Luge & Skyride is a popular extreme entertainment on Sentosa Island. The attraction consists of two parts, each with its own purpose. The downhill descent causes the constant delight of all tourists without exception, and the ascent to the top of the track in the open cabins of the cable car, Skyride, gives great pleasure from contemplating the seascapes and views of the island.
Amusement Island Sentosa is proud of its high-tech attractions. All of them are unusual, at the same time safe, and, as a rule, occupy the first lines in the ratings of the global entertainment industry. Karting Luge & Skyride is also considered the only one in Southeast Asia, accessible to tourists of all ages. This was made possible thanks to the steering and braking system in the karts. The passenger can adjust the descent speed independently - from dizzyingly fast to smooth and calm. Needless to say, most people prefer high-speed extreme.
Psychology is taken into account in everything: since no one is limited to one descent, this part of the attraction was also diversified. There are two tracks - steeper and more gentle, 680 and 650 meters long, respectively.
Fans of gambling prefer the first path, called the path of the dragon. This steep descent is equipped with unexpected turns, sections that simulate night lighting, etc. From the second, gentle slope "The path in the jungle" you can also get a lot of pleasure and have time to see the surrounding nature. Both trails end at Siloso Beach.
Safety is ensured in everything. The mountain slopes are covered with excellent asphalt. Detailed instructions are given before the attraction. And the three-wheeled karts, they are called "luzh", are more like boats, with comfortable seats and a foot-rest.
