Surfing, kitesurfing and windsurfing are popular in Corfu and especially in the northern part of it. The entire water area of the island is an excellent place for snorkeling, diving and sea fishing.

For children, the sea in Corfu offers a safe calm sea, warm water, shallow water and no currents. The south is ideal for family stays.

Diving

The richness of the sea depths could not fail to attract lovers of water treasures and corals to the island. There are dozens of dive sites of various difficulty levels around Corfu. Experienced divers may find it boring here, of course, there is no such diversity as in the Red Sea or the Indian Ocean, as well as extreme routes, but you can warm up and enjoy your natural fantasy in full.

The best diving sites and conditions are found in the west of the island and near Kolovri Island. The sea in Corfu is perfectly clean, so visibility in the water can be tens of meters, depending on the depth and diving area.
