If you purchased a ticket via the Internet on the website of the bus carrier itself, then you must return it there. That is, you do not need to go anywhere, just go to the website where you made the purchase, find the appropriate section or enter your personal account and follow the instructions. You will need to enter the boarding pass number, date and time of travel and its direction, as well as personal data, after which the application will go to the company for consideration.

All carriers warn that the money for the ticket, taking into account the rules, is transferred to the bank account or online wallet from which the payment was made within two weeks. At the same time, each company may have its own nuances in the amount of compensation, depending on whether you return the ticket a week or a day before the intended travel date. The return of a ticket purchased through an aggregator usually takes place on its website, unless it is indicated to contact the carrier. For example, the Busfor company operates - the only service where you can buy a trip not only to Europe or the near abroad, but also across Russia. In case of unforeseen situations, passengers can always return their bus ticket directly on the Busfor website in accordance with the conditions of the carrier, as well as the legislation of the Russian Federation. To do this, go to the "My tickets" section, select your order, press the "Return" button and follow the instructions of the system. After processing the application, a notification will be sent to your e-mail indicating how long the funds will be credited to the account, but usually the refund takes from 3 to 15 business days.

If it so happens that your trip cannot take place, and you are forced to return your bus ticket, remember that the sooner you return it, the more compensation you will receive.
